The 1/4" wide gauge blades can be used to check valve clearances of the newer small diameter bucket and shim type valve trains as most standard 1/2" wide blades may contact the cylinder head and not provide the proper clearance "feel". This kit contains a 14-piece set of .002" through .015" x 1/4" width feeler gauge blades. The narrow width and 4" length allows for extra reach to recessed valve systems. The blades can easily be bent for custom applications. Also excellent for measuring cylinder bore clearance.
