If you are rebuilding your Weber engine, there are a few tools and products that will simplify the task. Plastigauge is necessary to accurately measure the Rod and Main bearing clearance. This simple test will extend crankshaft, main and rod bearing life.

The correct procedure is outlined in the Weber service manual; we recommend you purchase all three sizes.

PL-1G .001” - .003” (.025mm - .075mm)

PL-2R .002” - .006” (.051mm - .152mm)

PL-3B .004” - .009” (.102mm - .229mm)
