Loctite #598 is an excellent hi-temp silicone based sealant. It offers good adhesion to fiberglass, aluminum & steel. It withstands gasoline & other chemicals, is non corrosive and fills gaps up to .25". It's a perfect jet-pump, rideplate, and below waterline sealant. It can also be used as a gasket replacement when needed.
